After School Short Course

After-School Short Courses:
9 - 12 Year Olds (4-week Course)
Min. 3 students, Max. 6 students
$95 per student
Our after-school courses are for 9 - 12 year olds and run from 4 - 5.30pm once a week for 4 weeks. Students focus on a specific theme and technique for the course and begin by exploring the medium then create a finished art work. Each student will finish the course with a mini-folio of their exploration work and a finished art piece.

ILLUSTRATION SELF PORTRAIT
Mondays April 29th - May 20th
During this course students will explore the popular styles of illustration using pastels, paint, drawing mediums and collage. After learning a range of styles, students will choose one to create their own self-portrait from.

STILL LIFE PRINTMAKING
Wednesdays May 1st - May 22nd
Explore several fun printmaking techniques, such as mono-printing and lino-prints, to create a still life art work.

Important Information:

All group art classes are run at The GEM Center for the Arts (2417 Bank Drive, Boise.)
Private art classes can be held at the student or instructor's home.
The cost for private and group art classes include the cost of all materials.
Students need only bring an art smock or apron and snack.
Group classes will only run if the minimum number of students has been reached.
